In the final stage of Job’s "Restoration of Office," the naming of his daughters serves as a Manifesto of Beauty. Under his original "administration," Job was focused on Protective Justice (breaking fangs/saving the poor). But after his encounter with the Sovereign, his new government evolves into one of Aesthetic Flourishing. The names of the daughters represent the "Fragrance, Sight, and Peace" of a state that is no longer at war.

1. Jemimah: The "Dove"
  • The Name: "Daylight" or "Dove".
  • Governmental Symbolism: Diplomacy and Peace.
The "Dove" is the universal symbol of the end of a conflict (the "Olive Branch"). After the "Dark Night" of Satan’s storm and the "Boils" of his biological warfare, Jemimah represents a government of Transparency (Daylight). A "Satanic" government thrives in the dark through secret accusations; Job’s restored government thrives in the light of open peace.
2. Keziah: The "Cassia"
  • The Name: "Fragrance" or "Cinnamon-like Bark".
  • Governmental Symbolism: Healing and Restoration.
Cassia was an ingredient in the Holy Anointing Oil used for kings and priests. It was used to cover the "stench" of death and sacrifice. In Job’s earlier "State of Emergency," he sat in the ashes and smelled of diseaseKeziah represents the Sanitization of the State. The "stench" of the legalistic arguments and the rot of the boils is replaced by the "fragrance" of a healthy, anointed society.
3. Keren-Happuch: The "Horn of Eye-Paint"
  • The Name: "Horn of Kohl" (Antimony).
  • Governmental Symbolism: Radiance and Vision.
A "Horn" in the Bible usually symbolizes Power, but this is a horn of Beauty (Makeup). This represents "Soft Power." Instead of using a horn of war to blast a signal for the Sabeans, Job’s government uses its power to enhance the "Vision" and "Beauty" of its citizens. It represents a state that has moved beyond "Survival Mode" into "Cultural Abundance."

The "Transition of State" Table
The "Old" Force (Satan/Friends)The "New" Force (The Daughters)The Governmental Result
The Whirlwind (Chaos)Jemimah (The Dove)Political Stability and Peace.
The Ashes (Disease/Mourning)Keziah (The Fragrance)Social Healing and Purity.
The Blindness (Ignorance)Keren-Happuch (Eye-Paint)Cultural Vision and "Soft Power."
The "Equal Inheritance" Policy
As noted, Job grants these three women a share of the inheritance. In the "Geopolitics" of the ancient world, this was an Act of Constitutional Sovereignty. Job was essentially saying:
"My government is so wealthy and so secure that I do not need to hoard power among the firstborn males. I can extend the 'Title of Ownership' to all who reflect the beauty of this restored kingdom."
Conclusion of the Case
The Book of Job begins with a Courtroom Accusation (Satan) and ends with a Royal Inheritance (The Daughters). The "Tit-for-Tat" of torture is replaced by the "Abundance-for-All" of grace. Job’s final government proved that Integrity is the only foundation that can survive a "Whirlwind" and produce a "Dove."
