Lord of All Creation,
I come before You in the quiet of this sanctuary, asking the questions my soul cannot help but ask.
Where can I go?
Lord, the horizon calls to me. Like a ship seeking new waters, my heart desires to explore the breadth of the life You have given me. Guide my curiosity, that my discovery of this world may always lead to a deeper discovery of Your glory. Let me not wander in vain, but walk in the path of Your light.
What can I build?
You have given me hands to work and a fire within to create. When passion burns hot and I seek to build security for myself and those I love, remind me that unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. May the works of my hands be strong, not for the sake of empire, but to serve Your Kingdom.
Who am I?
In a world that constantly tries to label me, I seek Your voice above all others. You are the Namer. You have called me by name, and I am Yours. Grant me the significance that comes not from legacy or fame, but from being Your child. Let my identity be rooted in Your eternal truth.
Will I walk with You?
Above all, I ask for peace. Silence the noise of my exploring, my building, and my naming, so that I may hear Your footsteps beside me. I choose to walk with You today.
