To understand the "Foreign Policy" and "Internal Security" of Satan’s government, we have to look at the specific forces he mobilized against Job. In the book, Satan acts as a Supreme Commander who has four distinct divisions of power at his disposal: Military Force, Environmental Warfare, Economic Sabotage, and Biological Torture. His strategy is a "Tit-for-Tat" escalation: for every level of Job’s integrity, Satan applies an equal and opposite force of destruction to see when the "citizen" will break.

To understand the "Foreign Policy" and "Internal Security" of Satan’s government, we have to look at the specific forces he mobilized against Job. In the book, Satan acts as a Supreme Commander who has four distinct divisions of power at his disposal: Military ForceEnvironmental WarfareEconomic Sabotage, and Biological Torture.
His strategy is a "Tit-for-Tat" escalation: for every level of Job’s integrity, Satan applies an equal and opposite force of destruction to see when the "citizen" will break.
The Four "Divisions" of Satanic Force
1. The Military Division (The Sabeans and Chaldeans)
  • The Force: Human Proxy War.
  • The Action: Satan incites the Sabeans (from the South) and the Chaldeans (from the North) to conduct a pincer movement on Job’s estate.
  • The Strategy: This represents the Geopolitical Force. Satan doesn't just use "magic"; he uses the greed of neighboring nations. He turns human "foreigners" into tools of the state to strip a citizen of his wealth and murder his "civil servants" (the workers).
2. The Environmental Division (The "Fire of God" and the "Great Wind")
  • The Force: Scorched Earth / Weather Warfare.
  • The Action: Lightning strikes the sheep (economic base), and a "Great Wind" (tornado/hurricane) strikes the house where Job’s children were gathered.
  • The Strategy: This is Psychological Warfare. By making it look like "Fire from God" fell from the sky, Satan frames the Sovereign (God) for the crime. He uses nature as a force to make the citizen feel like the universe itself has turned into a hostile government.
3. The Biological Division (Inflicting Boils)
  • The Force: Bio-Terrorism / Physical Torture.
  • The Action: Satan is allowed to strike Job’s "bone and flesh," covering him in agonizing, itchy, and social-disgracing boils.
  • The Strategy: This is the Internal Security Force. When external pressure (losing money and family) doesn't work, the Satanic government moves to "Enhanced Interrogation." He uses the force of Physical Pain to turn the citizen's own body into a prison.
4. The Social Division (The "Tit-for-Tat" Enforcer)
  • The Force: Social Isolation and Gaslighting.
  • The Action: Satan leaves Job’s wife and his three friends alive.
  • The Strategy: This is the most subtle force—The Enforcer of Despair. By leaving these people alive while killing everyone else, Satan uses them as "Trained Enforcers."
    • The Wife: Acts as the internal voice of the Satanic policy: "Curse God and die" (Job 2:9).
    • The Friends: Act as the "State Media" and "Judicial System," constantly telling Job he is a criminal.
    • The Tit-for-Tat: Satan uses "Tit-for-Tat" here by matching Job's silence with their accusations. Every time Job claims innocence, the "Force" of social pressure increases to make him admit guilt.

The "Satanic Cabinet" of Forces
Force CategoryBiblical ManifestationGovernmental Equivalent
Military ForceSabeans / ChaldeansInvasion and Asset Seizure.
National SecurityFire / Wind"Acts of God" used as State Terror.
Biological ForceBoils / DiseasePhysical Torture and Solitary Confinement.
Propaganda ForceThe Friends / The WifeSocial Ostracization and Forced Confession.
The "Tit-for-Tat" Enforcement
Satan’s government operates on a Negative Reciprocity (Tit-for-Tat) model:
  • Job remains faithful? Satan increases the pain.
  • Job remains silent? Satan increases the verbal "noise" from the friends.
  • Job clings to life? Satan makes life so miserable that death looks like a promotion.
Satan’s goal is to use these forces to create a "Confession" from Job. In modern terms, he is the Grand Inquisitor who uses every available resource—from the weather to the neighbors—to break the individual’s will.
