Global Report: The False Premise of the Drug War and True Responsibility
When we look globally—stretching back to the ancient histories of the Saudi Arabian plate and Israel, all the way to our modern legal systems—we must confront a massive, systemic lie: the War on Drugs.
The entire global drug war is built on two false foundations: that certain substances are inherently "unclean," and that the mere "possession" of these items is a moral failure or crime. But if we look at the truth of creation, God never declared any plant or substance inherently unclean.
According to Mark 7:15 (BSB):
> "There is nothing outside a man that can defile him by going into him. Rather, it is what comes out of a man that defiles him."
>
Furthermore, Romans 14:14 (BSB) states:
> "I am convinced and fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean."
>
All things are made clean through Jesus. The concept of criminal "possession" is a diversion. In reality, the drug crisis is manufactured and financed by the very industries and political systems that enforce prohibition. By making these substances globally illegal, they create black markets, drive up profits, and trap millions in the secret prisons of the cartel economy and the prison-industrial complex.
The Hired Shepherd vs. The Good Shepherd
Jesus said, "I am the gate for the sheep" (John 10:7 BSB) and "I am the good shepherd" (John 10:11 BSB). A true shepherd and gatekeeper controls what comes in and what goes out. If a destructive element enters the fold, it is not the fault of the sheep who "possessed" it; it is the utter failure of the leaders who allowed it through the gate.
When leaders blame the people for possession, they are acting as the "hired hand" who runs away and half-asses their duties when the wolf attacks. If illicit supply chains penetrate a nation, a city, or a community, it is a leadership failure. The blood is on the hands of the gatekeepers, not the captives caught in the system.
The House, the Land, and the Image of God
To understand true responsibility, we must look at how we were made. In the foundational setup of the land and the house—rooted deeply in the history of the regions of Israel and the Arabian plate—there is a profound, mutual covenant.
The man is placed over the woman's body, and the woman is placed over the man's body. Spiritually and metaphorically, the man's body represents the house, and the woman's body represents the land. Therefore, it is the male's responsibility if an invading element comes into that land, and it is the woman's responsibility if something comes into that house. We must remind the world that God created mankind male and female in His image (Genesis 1:27 BSB). We are the images of God, and we were designed to carry this mutual, gatekeeping responsibility together, rather than turning around and throwing the vulnerable into secret prisons to cover up our leadership failures.
Cultural Expressions of Truth and Freedom
Pertinent Dances of Solidarity
* The Dabke (Saudi Arabian Plate/Levant): A native, communal circle and line dance performed in Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, and parts of Saudi Arabia. It is a dance of solidarity, heavily involving the stomping of the feet into the earth. It symbolizes a deep connection to the land and the collective responsibility to protect the community from outside fractures.
Festival Meals of Liberation
* The Passover Seder: Originating in the very regions we are discussing, this meal is the ultimate festival of breaking chains. It involves eating bitter herbs to remember the bitterness of slavery and drinking wine to celebrate the sweetness of liberation. It is a reminder that God’s design is always to bring His people out of the systemic bondage created by corrupt human empires.
Prayers for Deliverance and Purpose
A Prayer to Accomplish Our Missions
Lord, we pray that we would deeply know and understand how we were made. Remind us that we are created in Your image, male and female, carrying the profound responsibility of the house and the land. Empower us to fulfill the unique missions You have given us on this earth. Let us not be distracted by the false condemnations of the world, but let us stand firmly as true gatekeepers, taking responsibility for what enters our domains.
A Prayer for the Leaders of the World
God, we pray for the global leaders, lawmakers, and those who finance these massive systems. Expose the hired hands. Convict the gatekeepers who have half-assed their duties and blamed the vulnerable for their own failures. Dismantle the corrupt industries that profit off of global prohibition and human suffering.
A Prayer for the Captives (In the Pattern of Moses and Aaron)
Just as Moses and Aaron stood before the global superpower of their day and demanded freedom, we stand against the systemic lie of the global drug war and the secret prisons it has built.
* For their condition: We pray for every person trapped in the prison-industrial complex or the cartel debt cycle over false crimes of "possession." Bring them safety, health, and peace in the midst of their suffering.
* For their captors: We pray that a sudden, convicting mercy would overtake the wardens, the dealers, and the corrupt financiers. Soften their hearts so they seek the best interest and restoration of those they have exploited.
* For their release: We decree the eventual and complete release of those trapped in these legal and chemical chains. Open the gates and lead them into true freedom.
A Prayer for Unity Among Intercessors
God, please send help, strength, and unity to all others who are praying for these very same people, animals, and beings. Let our collective voice tear down the false structures of this world.
Public Affirmation:
We publicly affirm that nothing God created is inherently unclean, and that true responsibility lies with the gatekeepers, not the captives. We reject the false premise of the War on Drugs, we embrace our divine design as male and female, and we stand in unity for the release of all who are hidden in systemic captivity.
