Global Report: The Martial Arts of Revelation (Part 2)
As we delve deeper into the apocalyptic landscape of Revelation, we see that the end of the age is not just a chaotic brawl. It is a highly complex, cosmic martial arts conflict. The combatants include celestial bodies, ancient beasts, and prophetic witnesses, all utilizing profound spiritual disciplines to vie for the soul of humanity.
By outward appearance, the victories in this book often look like total failures to the world. But as we know, the true martial art is measured on the inside, by the Maker of the system.
1. The Woman and the Child: The Art of Cosmic Positioning
In Revelation 12, we see a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars.
The Martial Art: She practices the ultimate art of Cosmic Positioning and Travail. She is birthing the "male child" (the element child, representing Christ and the ruling authority) right in the face of absolute danger.
The Evasion: When the Dragon attacks, she doesn't fight him hand-to-hand. She uses the "Wings of the Great Eagle" (Rev 12:14 BSB) to fly into the wilderness to a place prepared by God. It is the perfect evasion technique—retreating into divine nourishment while the earthly system collapses.
2. The Great Red Dragon: The Art of the Devourer
Satan, depicted as the seven-headed Dragon, utilizes an ancient, desperate martial art.
The Tail Sweep: His initial move is a massive, sweeping strike that drags a third of the stars from the sky to the earth.
The Flood of the Mouth: When he fails to devour the child, he uses the martial art of the voice, spewing a flood of water from his mouth to sweep the woman away. This represents a torrent of lies, systemic propaganda, and false condemnation designed to drown the truth. But the earth itself executes a counter-grapple, opening its mouth to swallow the Dragon's flood.
3. The Two Witnesses: The Art of the Pure Voice
In Revelation 11, the Two Witnesses step onto the stage. To the outside world, their martial art is terrifying. Because they have the power to shut up the sky, turn water to blood, and strike the earth with plagues, the world views them as the ultimate villains. The world essentially views them as Satanic terrorists.
The Martial Art: They practice the martial art of Pure Gatekeeping and the Consuming Fire. According to Revelation 11:5 (BSB): "If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies." Their voice is pure, unadulterated truth, which feels like fire to a corrupted system.
The Ultimate Move: The world celebrates when the Beast finally kills them. They appear completely defeated, their bodies left in the street. But their final martial art is the Upward Call—after three and a half days, the breath of life enters them, and they ascend to heaven in a cloud. They win by leaving.
4. The Complexity of the Beasts
The Dragon delegates his authority to two distinct beasts, each utilizing a different fighting style to enslave humanity.
The Beast from the Sea (Global Political/Military Empire)
The Martial Art: The Hydra and Brute Resilience. This beast rises from the chaos of the ocean. Its signature move is surviving a fatal strike. One of its heads suffers a mortal wound, but the fatal wound is healed (Rev 13:3 BSB). It uses the martial art of intimidation—proving that no human weapon can keep it down—forcing the world to submit to its sheer, terrifying resilience.
The Beast from the Earth / The False Prophet (Religious/Economic Control)
The Martial Art: The Illusionist and Psychological Grappling. This is the most deceptive martial art in the book. It has two horns like a lamb, but it speaks like a dragon. It doesn't use brute force; it uses ventriloquism, giving breath to the image of the first beast so that it can speak (Rev 13:15 BSB). It controls the supply chain (the Mark of the Beast) through psychological manipulation, convincing the world that slavery to the system is the only way to survive.
5. The Overcomers: Weapons of the Seemingly Defeated
To the outside world, the saints in the Seven Churches who refused to bow to the Beast looked like utter failures. They were impoverished, imprisoned, and martyred. They lost everything on the outside. But because they mastered the internal martial art of endurance, Jesus rewards them with the ultimate cosmic weapons.
The Hidden Manna & The White Stone: The weapon of secret sustenance and divine identity. A new name written on a stone that only the receiver knows (Rev 2:17 BSB).
The Morning Star: The weapon of cosmic dawn and eternal light.
The Iron Scepter: According to Revelation 2:26-27 (BSB), the one who overcomes is given authority to rule the nations with an iron scepter, dashing them to pieces like pottery. The ones who looked the weakest on the outside are handed the ultimate weapon of global governance on the inside.
Prayers for Deliverance and Purpose
A Prayer to Accomplish Our Missions (Wielding the Inner Weapons)
Lord, teach us the martial arts of the overcomer. When the world looks at us and sees failure or weakness, remind us that You have given us the white stone, the hidden manna, and the Morning Star. Help us to endure the illusions of the False Prophet and to hold our ground with the pure voice of Your truth, no matter how the world perceives us.
A Prayer for the Leaders of the World
God, we pray against the martial arts of the Beast system taking hold in our governments and economies today. Strike down the ventriloquism of the False Prophet that manipulates the masses. Give true leaders the courage to refuse the mark of corruption and to dismantle the systems of systemic control.
A Prayer for the Captives (In the Pattern of Moses and Aaron)
Lord, we intercede for everyone currently drowning in the Dragon’s flood of lies, addiction, and false condemnation.
For their condition: Provide them with the wings of the eagle to fly into a place of divine nourishment and safety.
For their captors: Let the earth open up and swallow the toxic systems, the predatory supply chains, and the hidden prisons that hold Your people captive.
For their release: We decree the pure fire of the Two Witnesses over every spiritual cage. Break the psychological grappling of the enemy and release the captives into the Upward Call.
A Prayer for Unity Among Intercessors
God, please send help, strength, and unity to all the intercessors standing in the gap. Let our voices merge into a pure, consuming fire against the darkness of this age.

I publicly affirm that I will not be deceived by the resilience of the Beast or the illusions of the False Prophet. I reject the Dragon's flood of false condemnation. Even if I appear defeated to the outside world, I claim the weapons of the overcomer, and I stand with the pure voice of the true gatekeepers!
